See you next Sunday

So we are all very glad tax season is over. For the past two months, Darin has left for work before the kids woke up and got home after they were asleep. They spent a lot of time of Sunday soaking up some Daddy time.

Mr. Noodle

So Kolton has this super macho guy with a souped up car to rescue people. Madi has affectionately named him "Mr. Noodle". I don't think it quite fits do you?

I've Been Tagged

So I am finally getting around to the tag from Trish and Sheenia. It only took a couple of months. Here are five things unique to me.....

I ROCK!! No really, in Oregon I joined a Rock Climbing gym with some of my friends.. I wasn't very good with ropes and knots but there was this type of climbing called "bouldering" it is horizontal climbing instead of vertical climbing. There was a numbered path to follow for foot holds and hand holds all around the gym. To really stretch yourself you had to follow the pattern and if you fell you had to start from the beginning all over again. There was this one part where you have to let go of the wall and reach to the holds on the low hanging ceiling. I was the only one of our group to master this!! So yes I ROCK!!!

I really have no idea how to text message, when I try to text it takes me ten minutes to do one word, pathetic I know. It makes me feel old to know that I must no longer belong to the “young” generation.

I love corndogs. There I’ve said it. Yup I know that they aren’t healthy and that no one really knows what is in a hotdog. But I love them. It’s kind of nostalgic because I grew up 3 miles away from each set of grandparents. When we would see my mom’s parents in the local grocery store unexpected, they would buy us a corndog every time. My mom rarely bought us this little treat saying there was Shepherd’s pie in the oven at home for dinner.

I am a bargain shopper. For example I just bought a jacket, two t-shirts, and a sweater for $35. Just to demonstrate the deal the jacket was originally $55. I have a really hard time paying full price for anything. So if there is a coupon or a deal count me in.

I am pretty much addicted to CafĂ© Rio’s pork salad with black beans and shredded lettuce!

Climber #2

Told ya Madi liked to climb as much as K-dawg!

Smile

So if you say "smile" to Madi this is what happens. She really likes to cheese it up.

Balloons anyone?

It is really hard to get pictures of Madi girl without the big brother jumping in. So took advantage of "Thomas the Tank Engine" time and caught some solo shots of Madi!

Helmet Head

So the kiddos found their halloween buckets and decided they made better helmets.
