TEN YEARS

Yep Darin and I have made it to year number 10 and you know what that means...... all of the small kitchen appliances we got for our wedding have died in the same month! Maybe we should have saved more of the 17 crockpots we got as wedding gifts! In all honesty I love being married to my best friend. Looking back I was so young I am grateful to have met and married such an amazing person! I wouldn't do anything different. Love you Babe!

As a tribute to 10 a never before seen picture from our honeymoon. Enjoy!

Aloha!!

It is literally 8 degrees outside right now but we recreated a Hawaiian paradise in our home to beat the snow. I mean at 8 degrees it is even too cold to have fun and play in the snow. If you value your fingers and toes that is. We made flower leis, surfboards, and even had had fruity drinks with the paper umbrellas. The paper umbrellas were a huge hit. I had to do some convincing on K-man that he really did want sherbet in his sprite. One taste and he was asking for more!

Some of the boy cousins thought the leis weren't very macho but the surfboards were manly enough for them. It was fun listening to the balmy tunes of the islands and jamming out to Surfin USA. With sunglasses like those you almost forget the frightful weather outside.

Christmas

I was really bad at taking pictures this Christmas, I just can't seem to do both pictures and the video camera and this year the video camera won. I did manage to take a picture of our tree and the candy trains the kids made. I missed the opening of the presents and the gingerbread houses that we made. Also I have inherited my mom's Christmas purging gene and the tree and decor all came down Christmas day so I can't even recreate scenes for the camera.

Lando Querks

Our baby has become a toddler and all that implies. His lastest accomplishments include learning how to climb onto the table and practicing daily for the world's furtherest food thrower. He is by far our best sleeper, no rocking, no holding just lay him in his crib with his blanket! He loves the bath and climbs in whether it is his turn or not. Lando loves to eat apples whole!! We love our Lando man!

Thanksgiving

We had a blast on Thanksgiving! All the kids were at my mom's except Jess and company whom we truly missed! Mom of course made an excellent meal and Shanna ate almost all the rolls. Just kidding Shan. But the highlight of getting together now is how much fun the cousins have together. Here is a glimpse of them playing together, in this particular game they were dinosaurs (we had let them watch a few non-maneating, non-scary clips of Jurassic park just before.)

We are Back!

I have been a little distracted by facebook but I have now resumed Blogging! Now we play catch up!

New Family Pictures

We had a beautiful fall here in Idaho. We took advantage of the great weather and an amazingly talented sister-in-law to get some great shots!

Boo at the Zoo

Our zoo here in Idaho Falls has a fun event for the littlest trick or treaters. They put up Halloween lights and deck the place with inflatables, transforming it into a halloween paradise and sponsers hand out trick or treats, there are games, a haymaze, Star Wars characters and of course costumes are a must! The kids had a blast and this year we went with a family Halloween costumes. We pretty much stole the show. The dialogue went a little like this from other Booers at the zoo look there is Dorothy and The Tin man wait the whole family is from wizard of oz! At least no one could get lost because we all belonged together!

A traditional favorite, the carving of the pumpkins! This year Dad made sure we all had a pumpkin and we got to carve at the homestead. Thanks Pahpa. M-girl and K-man couldn't wait to get at the guts!

The Deer

The mighty hunters return victorious! Darin and Kelvin both bagged a deer this season. Can't wait for all that jerky.

The big Cake

Since Landon gets his own we had to have another cake for everyone else. It was yummy! I think it was my favorite cake to decorate of all the birthdays this summer.

First Birthday

Yeah for all the cake you can eat!!

SUmmer Fun

We have discovered the Magic Tree House series this summer. This brother and sister find a treehouse full of books and when they open the books and make a wish it takes them into the stories. They visit dinosaurs, the moon, castles and fun historical eras. The kiddos LOVE them and want me to read a whole book everytime we sit down to read. We had a craft day and K made a treehouse and M made a princess castle in honor of our magic treehouse adventures.

The Oldest turns 6

I don't know why but 6 seems miles older than 5. Here is K-man the big six year-old. The theme was trains yep he still LOVES Trains. We had a hot dog roast and a pinata for the kids.

Air Show

The Blue Angels made an appearance for a show in Idaho Falls. It was super crowded but a good show. Here are a few future pilots.

Zoo

We have made a ton of trips to the zoo this summer.

It is always more fun when cousins come too. Here we have the Reno crew and the Lehi troop. We took a picture on the tiger after seeing the real deal which doesn't always happen, because he gets too hot. But he was out that day and even did some roaring for the crowd.

The Big Fish

This has been a fun summer for fishing. Darin has had every Friday off so we go on little adventures. K-man caught this fish ALL BY HIMSELF! Yep he said dad I have a bite and Darin couldn't get to him in time to help him reel it in so K-man did it all by himself.

Swimming :Lesspns

K-Man and M-girl had swimming lessons this summer and my man was AWESOME!! This is the first year he could use his stokes and get all the way across the pool. He jumped off the diving board and went down the slide three times all by himself. His teacher worked him hard and he learned so much! M-girl learned to crab crawl along the pool and was a rockstar at floating.

Latest Lando

My baby is growing up way to fast. Everyday is so much fun! He is crawling everywhere and will soon be walking. Right now he can stand for a few seconds without holding on to anything. Then he chickens out, which is fine with me!

New Cousins

Trav and Andrea had a new baby in June. She is a sweety! The Lehi crew also welcomed a new baby but we haven't met her yet.

New House

We just moved....again. Here are a few photos of our "new to us" house. It is so nice to have a place of our own. Our house backs up to Kolton's school so we have the playground just beyond our fence. I am so excited about being close enough to watch the kiddos walk to school. Our backyard also has a firepit, hot tub, and garden plot.

Fourth of July

We had a blast the whole weekend, fireworks every night, lots of BBQ and of course a parade! But alas we didn't take many pictures. We had so much fun with the Reno Crew and Ohio/Spokane crowd but we really missed the Lehi troop. I do have one picture of a fabulous fourth of July flag cake I made. Happy Birthday America.

We are still alive

We haven't fallen off the planet, we just have been very busy. June was a blur of parades, a rodeo and the circus coming to town and of course no school! I think I was more excited about that than K-Man!

Happy Happy Birthday Madi Dear

My little girl is now 4 (going on 14). Since my mom was there for the celebration we sang our chorus of birthday songs and the Dallimore clan thought the candles would melt into the cake before we were done. Madi wanted a princess birthday and did she ever get it!

yEAH For Cousins

My sister both came to Idaho for a visit and the kiddos had the blast with their cousins! They love to be together. Some highlights were riding the four wheelers( they all had to have their own helmets) playing games at the church (it was raining) and the ZOO! Madi and Ashton formed the girl club. It was sooo good to see everyone!
