Storybook Halloween

Our Children's Musuem hosted a fun little Halloween activity. The kids rotated through nursery rhythm stories, fairy tales, and tall tales, hearing each story and getting a prize at each station. We especially love the flutes they got at one station and it was a tragedy when Kolton broke his. Somehow we survived. Madi is standing by Sleeping Beauty, and Kolton found a horse to ride.

Tradition

Halloween was always my dad's holiday, he had this horrible mask that to this day still scares me that he would wear. He took us trick-or-treating, and always brought home pumpkins for us to carve for Family Home Evening. I think he wanted to hand down the pumpkin carving tradition because he gave us these really great carving pumpkins. The kids were so excited! It was fun carving with them. I love K-dawgs pumpkin with it's small circle eyes! M-girl had fun even though at first she wasn't going to scoop out the guts!

The Dallimores got us this great crib bedding for Landon's room! It reverses to a great polka dot design! Thanks mom and dad!

My friend Rachel took some pictures of Landon for me. She did an amazing job! He really is this cute in person!

My big helper

I was really worried about how M-girl would handle being dethroned. She has been doing great! She is my big helper getting me burp cloths and throwing diapers away!

Here are more of the baby! If you think he looks like K-dawg you are right! He even has the double swirl cowlicks on the back of his head.

Hanging with the boys

So here are the handsomest men and they are all mine! Aren't I lucky!
