Trip to SLC

We had a much needed family get away last weekend. We visited our old neighborhood, the zoo, the aquarium and drumroll please had the breakfast buffet at Little America! The kids loved staying at the hotel and on Saturday night we had the whole swimming pool to ourselves so we could shoot each other with squirt-guns. I loved the baby elephant at Hogle zoo so cute! It was the perfect birthday getaway.

Milestones

I am offically to old to audtion for American Idol! I know that you are all shocked that I haven't put my amazing vocal skills to the test. Alas I will never meet Simon Cowell. I did have a great birthday though. Kolton presented me with these beautiful flowers. Viv got me a strawberry boston creme pie cake. Darin took both K-dawg and M-girl to the monster truck rally so I could have some mother daughter time with mom. Madi was confused that I didn't have balloons or presents to open.

Daddy is home

None of you are as glad as I am that tax season is over! We actually get to see Darin now. Although the move to Idaho really allowed us to see him more as his five minute commute left time for him to come home for lunch and dinner during his busy season. We made him this little candy-gram to tell him we were glad he was done with crunch time!

SNOW DAY

We got a phone call at 6:40 this morning letting Kolton know that he was "snowed in". I couldn't believe it because there really wasn't all that much snow but I guess at 6:40 that morning the winds were making some sizable drifts. Kolton didn't complain that he got to sleep in at all. Darin thought it was lame that we got an extra day off and he didn't get to participate.

Teeth and Toes

The Lando now has two his two bottom teeth. He also is able to entertain himself with his toes. Life is good!

Easter

We did all the Easter egg favs. The kids loved that they had a special money egg. I forgot the camera when we did the Dallimore hunt. It has been great to be able to be closer to family.

Man chores

Darin brought home this tool set for Kolton. They have been busy hammering things in the garage. Grandpa even took K-dawg out to Grandma Lee's to fix a leaky faucet. He loved being involved in Man chores.

Lame Blogger

It has been a wild month with us. March really threw us for a loop as I got strep Kolton got strep Madi got an ear infection that almost burst her eardrum and little Lando got an ear infection too. Nothing like trying to met your deductable in one week!
