A baby has to be held

Brandon came to see us in the hospital!

We were so lucky my mom and dad were in town when we went into the hospital because mom stayed down in Utah with the kids. I think she really enjoyed seeing the baby in the hospital because usually it is a few weeks before she sees her grandchildren.

Daddy and the kiddos love to hold Landon!

It's a BOY!

We welcomed little Landon to our family on September 20 (which is also his cousin Hayden's birthday) just before 4:00 pm. He came a blessed three weeks early and weighed just under 7 pounds. I was looking huge and so ready to have him here. We didn't find out what we were having so it made the delivery extra special. He looks a lot like his big brother!

Latest Cake

Here is my latest cake from Cake decorating class. It has been so much fun. I had to give this cake away since I have been making a cake a week.

Soccer Season

Kolton started playing his first soccer season. It is pretty fun to watch all these five year olds kick the ball. It is like one big rugby scrum. Kolton did pretty well for never playing before. His team name is the Yellow Hornets.

NO training wheels

Kolton has been riding his bike with no training wheels for a month now. He is pretty much a terror on wheels now and we are working on him walking his bike to cross the road instead of tearing out of the driveway going mock10.

Madi's pre-school

With Kolton in kindergarten I am loving my one on one time with Madi. She is also going to school with a round robin neighborhood pre-school. Four of us moms are taking a month teaching. I took September so I can get mine done before the baby comes. It has been so great for Madi!! She is learning a lot and I am so proud of her!!

Cake Class

With Darin's nightmarish September schedule at work I decided I needed to give myself at least one night off from the kids. I am taking a cake decorating class every Tuesday and a nice neighbor girl comes and plays with the kids and babysits for me. Here is my first attempt at cake decorating. I know some of you aren't BYU fans but their victory over the Sooners on Saturday seemed like a good reason for a celebration cake.
