I practically lived on this web site when I was Primary Pres but know that I am not in primary anymore it has been a while and I visited it today and they have souped it up! You can print off color pages and play games!! Yes games similar to the Thomas the Tank Engine Web site if you have ever been there. Our fav was the on-line puzzles of Church pictures. The kids put the puzzles together while primary instrumental songs play in the background! K-dawg put the puzzles together for 30 minutes while I made dinner and the music totally brought in the spirit! Anyway we loved it! It is techinally the Friend Magazine online! Here is the link.

The Dreaded Dentist

This is K-dawgs second visit and he is super cooperative! This was M-girl's first visit and she was okay but pretty freaked out. Only the power of the princess toothbrush she got to hold let the dental hygenist brush her teeth. She really liked the water they swirted in and sucked with the little tube vaccumm thing (like my technical terms?).

Curious....

We love Curious George at our house. It is a sanity saver for me, this little cartoon comes on KBYU at 5:00 which is also know as the break down hour! The kids get to watch an educational cartoon and I get to make dinner. There is no down side. SO when the local library said if we read 20 minutes a day we could go to a party with Curious George, I knew it was for us! We got a picture with Curious George and The Man with the Yellow Hat and then there were booths where the kids could be "curious". They got to dig for dinosaur eggs, feel really big bugs on their hands, make kalidescopes, learn about electricity, space and lots of other fun things! They even got a treat of pretzels, bananas, apples and milk. All for reading 20 minutes a day!

The Best Eight Years of My Life

This week Darin and I celebrated our eighth wedding anniversary. I truly married my best friend!
We were assigned to be in the same FHE group at Ricks College. I had called my apartment for some reason and my roommates said that our new FHE brother was there. I came home to meet him and he teased me about making Macaroni and Cheese for dinner. I did better the next week when I fixed him a hamburger.
I loved that when we talked he made me think about things in an eternal nature.
I totally asked him out first. In my defense mom, it was a girls choice dance. What can I say, I know what I want!! He introduced me to his parents that night! We went to Applebees for dinner and then to the dance.
We had fun dating, going on horseback rides, fishing, tieing flies, going fourwheeling. When we first started dating he was in an English class and had to study Shakespeare's Hamlet. I had just finished studying it so we read it together so he could get a good grade. His English teacher was also trying to set him up with another girl.
He kissed me on our second date. For some reason I was at home instead of my apartment. When he dropped me off from roller skating we kissed on my parent's front step. I knew I would never kiss another guy.
He told me he loved me on my 19 th Birthday.
We spent alot of time stalking each other in the library when we were dating. He took me there saying we were going to met his roommate. The roommate never showed and he produced a diamond ring and kinda nervously asked me to marry him. He said I took 10 minutes to answer him. He then gave me a bouquet of beautiful flowers. I am sure there was some kissing involved too.
Our wedding day was perfect. It was a sunny snow covered day. My flowers, the dress and Darin were all perfect!
I've got to say it just keeps getting better and better!
